By working with me, you must have read and agree to the following terms.
I have the right to decline any commission request for any reason.
Commissions are not refundable once the payment has been made, so make sure you are committed before paying. I typically order materials and start work immediately, so if you think you might change your mind, please consider that before you pay. Though if I am being harassed or abused I can end the contract early, and any money spent on materials or labor up to that point cannot be refunded.
I will work on almost any character you would like, but I WILL NOT try to copy a plush made by another person. I make most of my patterns from scratch, and they are my own work. If you would like me to make a plush using a pattern that is being sold by another maker, that is fine, but the cost of the pattern will be added to your order.
I WILL NOT make NSFW or fetish plush. If you send me a NSFW reference image without warning, I will block you.
All items are made in a pet friendly environment, and may have had contact with cat hair. I keep my materials and hands clean while working, but my cats do live in this house and their hair sure does get around. I do lint roll all plush before shipping out just in case.
CHANGE REQUESTS:
I will accept a couple of minor change requests along the way for no extra charge, but if you request changes three or more times, I will start to charge for the additional work. Major changes are typically not accepted, but if you really need one, it will cost you more depending on the complexity of the change. If you are worried about specifics, please let me know all of your expectations BEFORE I start working on it, and please request WIP photos along the way. It also helps if you can send a reference in the style/shape you want the plush to turn out, so I can try to match exactly what you're expecting. I try to send WIP at pivotal moments in creation, but sometimes I get a lot done in one night, or sometimes I’m not sure if the client would want to see it in a chaotic (and often headless) state. So if you want specific WIP photos, please request them.
Most of my work is done to try to match reference images sent to me, so if you want a specific pose or expression or style change, you will need to let me know beforehand. Any style change will require a photo reference of what you mean. Chibi beanies and floppy animal beanies will be made with my own pattern and will match the style of the other beanies you can see in my portfolio.
PAYMENT:
Payment for custom work is due in full up front. I will not start work on any commission until it is fully paid. If the price is exceptionally high and you cannot pay all at once, please talk to me about this beforehand and we can develop a payment plan. I only accept payment in USD, but I do invoices via Paypal or Square. I am also willing to accept payment through Venmo, and potentially other methods in the future as I figure out what works best.
PAYMENT PLANS:
If we agree upon a payment plan, half of the total cost will be required up front to secure your slot. This initial deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. This cost is typically used to order necessary materials, as well as make sure you are serious. Assembly work does not begin until the full amount is paid, but I may start work on concepting the pattern or embroidery files as you pay off the rest of the balance. Materials are ordered as soon as the first deposit is paid, so they have time to ship to me and I can start as soon as you have paid in full. If the buyer misses any payments after the initial deposit, the order will be cancelled and they will forfeit their deposit and slot, but any subsequent payments after the deposit will be refunded. If you know you wont be able to make a payment on time, just let me know and we can figure something out, but if you don’t talk to me and miss a payment, it is forfeit.
COMMISSION TIME FRAME:
I typically do not accept deadlines, as I do not always know when I will experience a pain flareup or fabric shipping delay that could delay your order. You are more than welcome to discuss with me if you need the plush in a certain time frame before ordering though, and I can do my best to try to accomadate that, but just note that for anything medium-complex, I cannot guarantee anything faster than a month. For very complex plush, it could take longer, but just let me know your expectations early on so we can discuss if it is possible or not. I typically try to get most simple to medium complexity projects done within a month of starting, but this cannot be guaranteed as sometimes I am unable to work for a short time due to health, or sometimes material orders get delayed. I will keep you updated of the progress along the way. There could be an additional delay in starting a project if your order requires a special material such as printed fabric, mochi fabric, jewelry, or magnets.
When I take multiple commissions at a time, I work on them in order of who paid first. I will let you know once I start on your plush, but you can ask at any time where you are in the list. I typically only take a few slots at a time though to ensure a quick turnaround time for everyone.
READY TO SHIP ITEMS:
If ordering an item that is pre-made or ready to ship, it will likely be shipped out within 1-3 business days. If you would like a pre made item along with a commission, you can pay separate shipping to get your pre made item early, or save on shipping and wait to have it shipped when your commission is done.
SHIPPING:
Orders are shipped via USPS. When printing a shipping label, you should be emailed the tracking number, but you can request I email or DM it to you separately if you can’t find the first email. Items under one pound are shipped with Ground Advantage and have tracking but are typically uninsured. Commissions will always be shipped with insurance even if under a pound, and insurance may add up to $10 to the shipping cost depending on the item value. Rates for Ground Advantage start at ~$4-5. Items over a pound are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, with rates starting around $8-10 and come with $50 of insurance initially, additional insurance can cost up to $10 extra depending on item value.
For commissions, I typically ship with the full amount insured, so this will increase the typical shipping charge for USA orders using USPS. If you have any shipping preferences or concerns, please speak with me about them BEFORE you commit to an order and pay for it.
Large commissions will have their shipping calculated and billed once the item is complete. Please keep this in mind if commissioning a large item, so you can be prepared to pay shipping once I finish the commission.
Items will be mailed to the address provided on your invoice at time of checkout, or wherever you entered it for a ready made item. I CANNOT change the shipping address or name after you pay, so please double check it before you check out. If the item is returned due to incorrect name or address, you will be responsible for paying for a new shipping label. Items returned to me due to this error are still not eligible for refund, as it is your responsibility as the buyer to input the correct address when ordering the item.
RETURNS, REFUNDS, DAMAGES, MISSING PACKAGES:
- Returns on commissions are not accepted.
-I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages, once the item has been shipped it is out of my hands. Make sure your address is correct BEFORE you pay, and keep up with the tracking to make sure your package makes it to you safely.
- Packages delivered to old or incorrect addresses provided at checkout are ineligible for a refund or replacement, the buyer is responsible for keeping their account up to date & providing the correct shipping address.
Insurance Claims: For custom orders, I typically charge for insurance, which could help protect if the item is stolen, lost, or damaged in transit. To be eligible for the claim, the buyer must:
-Report a damaged item within 5 days of delivery, or a missing item within 20 days after shipment.
-Document and save all damaged items, packaging, and any notices for inspection by the postal carrier.
-Provide photos of damaged items, packaging, notices, and the shipping label.
Please note, carrier inspections and insurance claims may take 5-7 days to review and 5-7 days to reimburse.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
I typically only ship to the USA to avoid complications with customs, but I am willing to make exceptions depending on the circumstances. If your item is going to another country, please let me know early along in the process so I can check if it is possible to ship to you, and any restrictions that may impose. Don’t be afraid to ask! Just know that international shipping is exceptionally more expensive, and there are often extra import fees that you will be responsible for upon arrival. For international commissions, I will invoice shipping once the commission is complete, to ensure an accurate shipping cost, so keep in mind that you will need to pay the shipping cost and any import fees later down the line. Please look into the import laws for your country ahead of time though, as it is impossible for me to know everything about every country, but you can do your best to know the important things about your own!
Once complete, I retain the rights to any photos of the plush or item. If you share pics of the plush anywhere, please credit me as the artist!
The things that I make are NOT MEANT FOR CHILDREN. These are handmade items, typically meant for collecting or display. They can handle gentle handling and love, but are not meant to withstand a child. Tugging on plush parts may weaken or break hand-sewn attachments, and many of my plush contain small parts (such as plastic eyes or magnets) and are not safe for children anyway. If you want an item for your child, you must accept all responsibility for what may happen, and at the very least, only let them have it while you are actively supervising them. Any damage to the plush from handling after it is sent is your sole responsibility.
REPAIRS:
If your commission or pre-made item becomes damaged over time, such as loose seams or holes, feel free to reach out to me about repairs. If it arrives to you with an issue, more than likely I will work with you to repair the plush for no extra cost. If the damage comes as a result of time and wear, I will have to charge for the repair. Price for repairs will vary depending on the issues, but if it is just fixing seams or closing holes, it shouldn't cost too much. You will be responsible for the shipping charges to and from me for repairs due to time and wear. I am also happy to try to teach you how to fix it yourself at home with pics and video if you would rather try that! If any part of your plush needs to be remade, it will cost significantly more for the labor of the repair.
